Junior Lake went 2-for-4 and Andrew Cashner picked up the save in the Mesa Solar Sox’s 3-2 win over Scottsdale Tuesday in Arizona Fall League play. This was Cashner’s second AFL appearance, and he threw 13 pitches/eight strikes in one inning, giving up one hit. Josh Vitters was 1-for-4 and is batting .357 in the AFL. On Wednesday, the Solar Sox play host to the Peoria Javelinas at HoHoKam Stadium in Mesa. First pitch scheduled for 12:35 p.m. MT.
