10/17 Team USA to play in Mexico
Cubs prospect Brett Jackson and Team USA will compete in the Pan American Games this week in Mexico. The 23-man U.S. squad is comprised of non-40-man roster pro players. The team is coming off a third-place finish in the IBAF Baseball World Cup in Panama. Jackson was batting .412 for the team, which begins play Thursday against the Dominican Republic at 2 p.m. CT in Lagos de Moreno at Pan American Stadium.
