12/22 Winter league update
Cubs prospect Austin Bibens-Dirkx struck out five and gave up three hits over six scoreless innings in Zulia’s 6-0 win over Magallanes on Wednesday. Bibens-Dirkx improved to 7-2 in Venezuelan Winter League play.
* There are reports that Carlos Marmol will pitch for Licey in the Dominican Winter League, starting Monday.
