4/5 Cubs roster moves
The Cubs set their 25-man Opening Day roster Thursday. The Cubs have selected the contracts of pitcher Shawn Camp, infielder Blake DeWitt and outfielder Joe Mather. Outfielder Tony Campana and pitcher Casey Coleman were optioned to Triple-A Iowa. Pitcher John Gaub was claimed off waivers by Tampa Bay. Right-handed pitcher Marcos Mateo has been placed on the 60-day disabled list with ulnar neuritis. The 40-man roster now stands at 40 players.
