4/8 Cubs lineup – UPDATED
Bryan LaHair is back and making his first start of the year at first base for the Cubs in the series finale against the Nationals. LaHair had been sidelined with tightness in his back. However, Blake DeWitt was a late scratch because of back spasms. Darwin Barney will start at second in place of DeWitt. The Cubs are trying to avoid beginning the season 0-3 for the first time since 1997, when they began the year 0-14. Here’s Sunday’s lineup:
