4/9 Minor League report

Anthony Rizzo hit a game-tying three-run homer in the eighth and Brett Jackson delivered a walkoff RBI double to lift Iowa to a 6-5 victory over Round Rock on Sunday. Rizzo hit for the fourth straight game. He’s 6-for-16 so far. Luis Valbuena, making his first start, had two hits. Jay Jackson started and gave up four runs on four hits over 4 2/3 innings. Scott Maine picked up the win with a scoreless ninth.

Tennessee scored three runs in the seventh en route to a 7-4 win over Chattanooga. Justin Bour had two hits and two RBIs. Nate Samson had two hits.

Daytona had Sunday off and opens a series against Dunedin on Monday. Zach Cates is scheduled to start. Peoria opens a series Monday against Quad Cities. Ben Wells is slated to start.
