4/14 Minor League report

Anthony Rizzo hit two home runs, and Brett Jackson and Welington Castillo each connected to help Iowa beat Round Rock, 6-5. Jay Jackson got the win, giving up two runs on five hits over five innings. Rizzo now is batting .400. He drove in three runs and posted his second multi-homer game of the year.

Dae-Eun Rhee gave up one run on six hits over 6 1/3 innings in Tennessee’s 4-1 win over Jackson. Rebel Ridling had two hits and three RBIs. Jae-Hoon Ha has a seven-game hitting streak.

Eduardo Figueroa gave up one run on three hits over five innings in Daytona’s 8-4 win over Tampa. Nelson Perez and Rubi Silva each had two hits and drove in a run.

Jose Rosario gave up four runs on seven hits over five innings in Peoria’s 5-2 loss to Wisconsin. Marco Hernandez homered and drove in two runs.
