5/1 Cubs lineup vs Reds

Blake DeWitt is starting at second base for the second straight game Tuesday night as the Cubs open a three-game series against the Reds. Here’s the lineup:

RF DeJesus

CF Campana

SS Castro

1B LaHair

LF Soriano

3B Stewart

2B DeWitt

C Soto

P Samardzija

* The Cubs finished April with nine home runs, 75 RBIs and a .237 team average. It’s the sixth time in the last 17 years the team has not totaled 100 RBIs for the first month of the season, and lowest home run totals in that stretch. Average-wise, it’s the lowest team average since 1997 when the Cubs batted .228 in April with 15 homers and 87 RBIs.
