5/16 Minor League report – Tuesday’s games
Anthony Rizzo hit his 13th homer and Alfredo Amezaga also homered but it wasn’t enough as Iowa lost 9-4 to Sacramento on Tuesday. Randy Wells gave up seven runs on eight hits over five innings and took the loss. Rizzo is batting .359 with 37 RBIs, tops in the Pacific Coast League.
Justin Bour hit his sixth homer to help Tennessee beat Jackson, 10-8. Bour had two hits and two RBIs. Dae-Eun Rhee gave up six runs (two earned) on two hits over four innings. Junior Lake had three hits and three RBIs.
Daytona’s game at Brevard County was rained out. The two teams were scheduled to play a doubleheader on Wednesday.
Gerardo Concepcion won his first pro game, giving up three hits over six scoreless innings in Peoria’s 2-0 win over Burlington. Concepcion struck out three. Zeke DeVoss had two hits and four stolen bases.

What is the status of Clevenger? When is he expected to return to active play?
Clevenger took swings for the first time Wednesday. He could be ready as soon as Cubs series in Pittsburgh next week
Does that mean Castillo gets sent to Iowa or is something done with Soto and his .161 average?
