Ryan Dempster will try to even the intracity Interleague series on Saturday when he faces the White Sox and John Danks. It’s a rare night game at Wrigley Field, with first pitch scheduled for 6:15 p.m. CT. Dempster ranks second in the Major Leagues with a 1.74 ERA in six starts. He’s still looking for that first win. The Cubs have scored three or fewer runs in five of his six starts. He’s winless in his last 15 starts dating to Aug. 16 last year, and has gotten 2.52 runs of support while on the mound. That’s second-lowest in the Majors to Chris Volstad, who had received 2.32 runs of support. The Cubs are 103-118 against American League teams since Interleague play began in 1997.
