5/22 Day off
Bryan LaHair was expected to get a day off Tuesday when the Cubs play the Astros in Game 2 of their three-game series. The first baseman is 1-for-19 in his last six games and the Astros will be starting lefty J.A. Happ. Dale Sveum said he would like LaHair to do some early work, then take a breather.

If Sveum thinks Lahair needs a breather then Stewart needs a vacation.When is Mather, who had a great spring , going to get an extended shot at playing, he has shown he can hit and plays as good defensively anywhere they put him, sitting a good hitter and using in spot situations is a waste of good talent.

Carrie just how do you see the Cubs getting much better next year. This year is a lost year and at best can be used to see who is worth keeping.
