6/4 Cubs sign Kuo
The Cubs signed left-handed pitcher Hong-Chih Kuo, 30, to a Minor League deal. He was with the Mariners this spring and released in March. In 2011, Kuo had a 9.00 ERA in 40 appearances, and missed time because of an anxiety disorder. He’s coming off his fifth elbow surgery, which he had in October 2011. Kuo will report to the Cubs extended Spring Training in Mesa, Ariz.

Sure sounds like someone the Cubs would go for!
Wow, 5 surgeries, 30 years old AND an anxiety disorder. I suppose no better way to disclose how bad a system Hoystein inherited than to sign this guy….oh well we can still have some fun this season just seeing who will go and how fast. The Soriano drums are now beating pretty strong….
Ho-Lee Cow!
