6/16 Minor League report

Alfredo Amezaga and Matt Tolbert each had three hits but it wasn’t enough as Iowa lost 4-3 to Albuquerque on Friday. Rafael Dolis threw 1 2/3 innings in relief, giving up two hits and one walk while striking out two.

Rebel Ridling had three RBIs and Dallas Beeler gave up three runs on seven hits over five innings in Tennessee’s 6-3 win over Birmingham. Junior Lake had two hits and two stolen bases. Michael Brenly had two hits and one RBIs.

It’s All-Star break time for Class A Daytona.

Starling Peralta gave up four runs on five hits and three walks over 5 1/3 innings in Peoria’s 6-4 win over Clinton. Dustin Geiger had three hits and Yao-Lin Wang picked up his ninth save.

Marco Hernandez had two hits in Boise’s 3-2, 12-inning loss to Salem-Keizer in the season opener. Jose Arias started, and gave up three hits over five scoreless innings.
