7/6 Cubs lineup — no Castro
And on Game No. 83, Starlin Castro rested. The Cubs shortstop, who had started all 82 previous games this year, and was the only player in the Major Leagues to do so, was not in the starting lineup for Friday’s series opener against the Mets. Castro, named to his second All-Star team, was batting .287. He’s 2-for-16 on this road trip. The Cubs face Mets lefty Johan Santana for the second time this season. Here’s the lineup:
Johnson RF
Barney SS
Rizzo 1B
Soriano LF
Baker 2B
Soto C
Mather CF
Valbuena 3B
T. Wood P
– Carrie Muskat

Barney at SS??? Wow cant wait!!!
SHUTUP !!!!!!!! We get it… ur gay
what’s your problem, chief?
Enjoy your happiness Isabel. Barney is a good player and we are fortunate to have him as a capable back up at SS allowing Castro some well deserved rest. Go Cubs!
Thanks(:
