Casey Coleman gave up three runs on four hits over three innings in Iowa’s 5-4, 11-inning win over Omaha on Friday. Welington Castillo hit his third home run. Michael Bowden picked up the win in relief.
Eric Jokisch gave up one run on five hits over six innings in Tennessee’s 5-1 win over Jacksonville in the first game of a doubleheader. In the second game, Nick Struck gave up three runs — one earned — on five hits over five innings in a 3-1 loss in the second game. Struck struck out six.
Matt Loosen struck out 10 over seven shutout innings in Daytona’s 5-1 win over Dunedin. Arismendy Alcantara was a single shy of hitting the cycle with a double, triple, home run and two RBIs. Rubi Silva had four hits.
Dustin Geiger hit his seventh home run in Peoria’s 8-3 loss to Burlington. Starling Peralta gave up six runs, but only two were earned, over five innings.
Boise lost a 5-4, 11-inning game to Tri-City. James Pugliese gave up three runs, two earned, on six hits over five innings. Jeimer Candelario, Chadd Krist, Wilson Contreras and Bijan Rademacher each hda two hits.
Daniel Vogelbcah hit his third home run in Mesa’s 10-3 win over the Giants. Tim Saunders and Carlos Escobar each had two hits.
