8/8 Minor League report
Ty’Relle Harris, subbing for Brooks Raley, picked up his first Triple-A win, giving up two runs over six innings in Iowa’s 7-4 win over Reno. Harris struck out five. James Adduci drove in three runs, and Dave Sappelt had two hits and two RBIs.
Jake Brigham, making his second start since he was acquired from the Rangers for Geovany Soto, gave up six runs over two-thirds of an inning in Tennessee’s 10-4 loss to Jackson. Justin Bour had two hits and one RBIs.
Austin Kirk gave up one run over 5 2/3 innings in Daytona’s 6-1 win over Lakeland. Javier Baez had his first multi-hit game with Daytona, going 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Kirk won his third straight and now is 7-3 with a 3.13 ERA. Christian Villanueva had two RBIs.
Starling Peralta struck out 14 and gave up two hits over seven innings in Peoria’s 5-3 win over Clinton. Peralta ended a personal three-game losing streak with the win. He did not give up a hit until serving up a two-run homer in the sixth. Zeke DeVoss went 4-for-4 with two doubles and a triple.
Daniel Vogelbach hit his third home run in Boise’s 6-3 loss to Everett. James Pugliese gave up one run over four innings. Gioskar Amaya had two hits, including a triple.
Shawon Dunston Jr. drove in three runs in Mesa’s 6-1 win over the Angels. Albert Almora stole two bases and Jorge Soler drove in a run and stole two bases.
