8/22 Scouts dismissed

The Cubs’ front office makeover continued on Wednesday. The team dismissed six of their scouts, including pro scouts Joe Housey, Richie Zisk, Tom Bourque and Tom Shafer, and amateur scouts Charlie Aliano and Rick Schroeder. Aliano was a regional crosschecker and Schroeder handled some of the Midwest. Last week, the Cubs dismissed farm director Oneri Fleita.

Carrie, not playing the finger pointing game – but is there any way you could share with us some of the players on which these scouts could have advised?

Was any reason stated for the dismissal (beyond, “We haven’t been to the World Series since 1945.”)?

what she said. who whacks out Richie Zisk under the guise of ‘rebuilding’?

‘Irregardless,’ they already traded Derek Lee a season or so ago. If i could paint a picture of the cubs, it would look like an adult bear handing his or her baby bears to a pirate. or a cardinal. or whoever else is sitting there all smug-not while the cubs self-destruct. on account of, those off-hand remarks coming true. the ones about how the cubs ‘brass’ is interested in half-naked fans and beer and bad music. north side style. bad omens all around…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZmixJmXSyc

And don’t get any fancy ideas.
I have rooted for the Cubs for a good 33 years.
