Why play springtime Joe? Last week Quade move!
wow. there’s one week left in the season, the Cubs are cemented in 5th place and you’re complaining about Mather playing too much on his second start in 8 games.
Playing Mather has nothing to do with developing youngsters and as you say nothing to do with winning. This is not Little League rules where the manager must play everybody two innings usually in right field–remember those two innings you got to play every game. Mather will have to pay to walk into Wrigley next year.
Well, here we go playing the new guys as predicted. But where is Brett Jackson? Thought he would be in CF. Good luck Cubs.
Why not showcase Lahair at first base and Campana in center field? Might be able to make a trade in the off-season for them.
Are we trying to pick the tallest of the midgets?
