If you read Carrie’s interview with Volstad before his game, he kept emphasizing that finally this year, he could pitch how he wanted too and control his own game. Then if you read Sveum after game interview on his performance, he is really upset as to how he did not stick to the game plan. The book on this guy before he came here was chip on shoulder, Z type emotions-had been suspended by MLB for 6 games etc. BOTH INTERVIEWS ARE VERY TELLING.
