This is the Cubs’ first regular season October home games since the 2009 season. They are 33-27 (.550) in 60 regular season October contests at Wrigley Field. The Cubs last played regular season games in October to close out the 2010 campaign, winning two-of-three at Houston, Oct. 1-3.

Here’s tonight’s lineup:

Nope, gotta get my Cubs/baseball in…time is fleeting….Baseball rules.

You got it! Baseball rules! I am so sad when the season is over. Even though we have not had a winning season I love every single game we play. I think we will do really really better next year. Hopefully some of the “not so hot” players will be back at AAA to work on their game and hopefully we will find some good pitching. I truly think that if we can fill our pitching woes we will have a good year. Castro, Barney, Rizzo, someone at 3rd(who) will fill the infield well. I like DeJesus and Sappelt! Hope they are back. Also, I know many disagree, I want Soriano back.
