10/16 AFL update
Cubs prospect Matt Szczur was 3-for-4 with a double and one RBI and Javier Baez drove in a run but it wasn’t enough as the Mesa Solar Sox lost 9-2 to Peoria on Monday in Arizona Fall League play. The Solar Sox travel to Peoria, AZ, on Tuesday for a game at 12:35 p.m. MT.
