Looking forward more than ever watching some of these young guys in Spring Training this year. I am very excited about the youth and rebuilding from the bottom up. Its always exciting when the Cubs compete.
I do not have great expectations for 2013 Cubs, but starting in 2014 I think we will start to see results from last years draft, this years draft, Minor League FA signings and all the added youth in trades the Front Office has made since being hired.
Keep up the great job Front Office and thank you for keeping Cub fans informed Carrie.
Hey Carrie with lake’s ability to play infield and the corner outfield positions, and his strong winter ball performance, do you think a solid spring training would land him a spot on this years roster as a utility man? It seems everytime I check up on the winter leagues he has at least one hit per game and I think a lot of cubs fans would be excited to see one of the young guns make it up sooner than expected.
