3/2 Starlin Castro update
Starlin Castro underwent an MRI on his left hamstring, which showed some minor inflammation. Cubs manager Dale Sveum had said Castro could be back Monday, but now it seems more likely next Wednesday at the earliest. Castro, who had to come out of the game last Wednesday after feeling something in his leg running to first, doesn’t feel any pain in his leg now, which is good.
“I think we might be a little more cautious than normal,” Sveum said. “We might see him on the field in three or four days.”
Castro was expected to take ground balls on Sunday, and might do some running.
