4/2 Class A Daytona

Javier Baez and Jorge Soler, two of the Cubs top prospects, will start the 2013 season at Class A Daytona. Baez, 20, is ranked No. 1 among the Cubs’ top 20 prospects by MLB.com. Also joining Daytona will be third baseman Ben Carhart, who led the Stetson Hatters with a .339 batting average last year. The 2013 roster also includes four third-round draft choices: right-handed pitcher Zach Cates (San Diego, 2010), southpaw Austin Kirk (2009), second baseman/outfielder Zeke DeVoss (2011) and catcher Micah Gibbs (2010). Daytona will play an exhibition game Wednesday before the season opener Thursday under new manager Dave Keller.

I predict Baez will excel at Daytona in record speed and advance to AA Tennesee Kodiak where I once lived.

BAEZ! LETS GO! :D

Ug I wonder what Petrey Dish thinks of this. I supported yourself onthis site when everyone hated on you,, and thought, were an a-hole, but now I agree with those folks, Petrey, you are an a-hole.

haha an a-hole because I speak the truth… fair enough… what do I think of this? Its great… would love to see both Soler and Baez move up the AA before the All Star break but that has a slim chance of happening. IMO I think you see Soler pushed more than Baez just because of age. So Baez has to make a statement… he is very capable of it

I hear you, Mamma. I reckon that`s sage advice.

what great save by carlos marmol only gave up 2 runs in the 9th.

Who is Desi Wilson?

Thank you, sir. That was an interesting take you had on pitchers being aided by humidity in Florida. Most observers would not have considered that. Please give me Duncan`s first name. He`s not related to the Duncan who was once pitching coach for Cardinals or Shelley Duncan, or is he?
