Okay guys – today you need to shine! Glad to see Schierholtz back in the line-up although I must say it is going to take me a while to learn to spell these new names.

Marmol, Marmol, Marmol – you closed us down real good tonight. Sleep tight.
Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty, Little Ball of Fur, Happy Kitty, Sleepy Kitty – Purr, Purr, Purr.
Ho, Ho, Ho – Have you got a bottle of rum?

So did Fujikawa too. BP fastball from Marmol. They both screwed that game up together. Other than Dolis, is there anyone in the minors who can come up and close for them? I mean this is ridiculous.

You are right Rye Rye – Fuji was no help either. But it is the “closer’s” job to keep it at 5-4. And you are right – this is ridiculous. Can you imagine how the other players feel when they have played a great game and then have to watch the “closer” throw it away? Must be pretty quiet in the locker room tonight. I am afraid they will get a “why bother attitude” if something isn’t done to get a reliable closer and soon.

Does Marmol not have a change-up? Let’s remember, Marmol throws whatever is called. Not sure if that means dugout, or catcher made those calls on the pitches. Just does not make sense to throw fastball every time like that. Give Marmol a chance to call his own pitches or something here! Fujikawa did not look too great tonight either.

My heart is broken from sports more over the years than it’s been happy from them. I can tell you that. Atlanta is loaded though huh? My goodness.

Mamma Mia – what great news!!! If he is hitting as your wife says then his wrist is well healed! Maybe he will be back soon. They probably aren’t having him run full out yet. I am very anxious to see him at 3rd. We never did get to see his abilities due to wrist problems, etc. Now we will see a new Ian Stewart! Ready, willing and able. Thanks for your heads-up good news.
