4/10 Minor matters

Chris Rusin gave up four runs on seven hits over six innings in Iowa’s 4-2 loss Tuesday to Round Rock. The Iowa Cubs now are 0-6 to start the season, the worst start in franchise history. Darnell McDonald hit a solo home run and Brett Jackson had two hits, including a triple. The Iowa Cubs and Round Rock square off Wednesday.

Tennessee had Tuesday off. On Wednesday, the Smokies face Chattanooga. Dallas Beeler gets the start.

Zeke DeVoss hit a solo home run in Daytona’s 5-4 loss to Clearwater. The D-Cubs made four errors in the game. Zach Cates took the loss, giving up three runs — one earned — on six hits, while striking out seven over 3 2/3 innings. Jorge Soler had two hits. Daytona faces Clearwater on Wednesday.

Rock Shoulders had two hits, including his second home run, in Kane County’s 6-5 win over Clinton. Jeimer Candelario hit a walkoff RBI single in the ninth for the game-winner. Daniel Vogelbach had three hits. Pierce Johnson started, but did not get a decision. He gave up two runs on six hits over five innings. Kane County was to face Clinton Wednesday night.


oh know anger… what will we do… hmmm our prospects should act like angels everyday no matter what or we will get them psychotic help…………….. *note the sarcasm*

Our prospects should act like decent mature young men EVERYDAY! NOT like gangs in the hood. If they want to represent their team then they better plan on growing up and stopping the temper tantrums. And, YES, anger management help may benefit Soler and/or Baez. Shame on you for condoning such behavior!
