Good Morning Cub’s Fans! Shirley Purrl and I are set for another winning day! Jackson needs to do the job today! Garza needs to get back to Wrigley ASAP. After Joey scared the kitty yesterday LOL – her fur has settled until any further disruptions. Eamus Catuli

So sorry White for scaring Shirley Purrl!! Let’s settle in this afternoon and watch our Cubs hand it to Harvey and the Mets. Maybe Soriano will even contribute today against the tough right handed Harvey. I would have liked to have seen Sweeney get the start giving Soriano some rest against a tough right hander BUT….Sveum is not up to the challenge of such a difficult task….SO….GO SORIANO!!!!

Joey, I know that you and I have very different opinions on Soriano and I do have to say that play he made to Barney to get the out the other day was awesome. As long as he is a Cub I just have to appreciate his stellar plays. Sorry if I made your hair stand on end. Shirley Purrl says haha.

ya how bout soriano’s defense??? hahaha…. haters GONNA HATE……..

White, no hairs on end here, LOL. Soriano no doubt has something left in the tank (his arm) and I am glad he was able to field the ball in order to utilize his still potent arm. I am referring to his offense which still shows signs of life but can still use a day off here and there. Your very different opinion from mine regarding Soriano is understood and when he’s in the line up I hope for the best from him. I know some hate me and my opinions but you know….haters gonna hate, especially the ones that are so FULL of hatred. I truly respect the way you handle a difference of opinion White and have not one hate tainted bone in you when it comes to us commenters. Go Soriano!!

I saw Marlon Byrd play plenty at the AAA level, Mamma, when with the Phils organization. Always liked his game and rued the day he was beaned in Boston a couple years ago and never seemed to return to his prior form with Cubs. What do you all think of the third base coach, Bell, sending Dar on that DeJesus knock? I did not see the play, but read that the runner was out by plenty at home. Do you all think Bell should be penalized for that bonehead decision? Do you call for his behind to be replaced as third base coach?

i didn’t get to watch the game but if Bell legitimately waved him home at that point of the game then he is the dumbest 3rd base coach in the MLB…. now it could be that Barney went through the sign or didn’t see it somehow but thats a terrible out to have…. having 1st and third with 1 out and Castro at the plate??? I will take that everytime!

Btw, that Red Sox pitcher who threw at Byrd and broke several facial bones in Marlon`s dome, was named Aceves, was it not? He is a rotter. He was not even liked by his own teammates nor management. Was a cancer on the team, the way Carlos Zambrano was on the clubs for which he played, and was recently signed to a minor league contract by the Phillies. I predict that deal will not be a fruitful one for Philadelphia.

As Vince Scully has said about others in past, I say about the crazy Venezuelan, “You can put a fork in him, he`s done.”

That`s Vin Scully, not Vince. Im know better.
