6/22 Cubs lineup

Travis Wood has been the most consistent of all the Cubs starters, and he’ll be on the mound today when the team plays host to the Astros at Wrigley Field. Here’s the lineup vs. Houston right-hander Bud Norris:

Valbuena 3B
Castro SS
Schierholtz RF
Soriano LF
Rizzo 1B
Sweeney CF
Castillo C
Barney 2B
T. Wood P

Looks like we are back to the old lineup today. Thought maybe Travjs Wood would be in cleanup spot the way he has been hitting! Eamus Catuli

That is Travis! Oops.

Okay, I don’t get out much,,,,,,,,vass iss Eamus Catuli? I love those home run boys!

There is a sign on one of the rooftops across from Wrigley Field that reads “Eamus Catuli”. The sign also indicates the number of years since the Cubs have won the championship, etc. In Latin there is no actual word meaning cubs so Eamus Catuli means “go Whelps”. You can Google it for more info.

“WE WAS ROBBED”! Soriano was safe! Barney got ball 4.

BLACKHAWKS ROCK!

Not a good time for Soriano to be wandering off base. Barney looked stunned but stoic. I don’t think he had recovered for the next pitch. Tough job for umps BUT c’mon that was an easy call as a ball! Umps can sure turn games upside down.
