7/11 Good guy

Cubs outfielder Julio Borbon spent part of the day Thursday with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago’s wheelchair softball Fantasy Camp at California Park. He ran drills with the kids and talked to them about playing baseball and staying active.

The more I see of him the more I like him.

There are so many current and former Cubs who contribute to the community and especially to the kids in really meaningful ways. Maybe somebody in the front office deserves a pat on the back for considering character as well as baseball skills when recruiting players. Certainly the players who go out of their way to help out deserve mentions like this article. Way to go, Julio.

Mordecai ( three finger ) Brown, good to hear from you after all these years. lol
You are very right bringing that fact to mine and other Cubs fans. Thanks and good to hear from you.🙂
