Yoanner Negrin gave up three runs, only one earned, over six innings in Iowa’s 4-1 loss. Jae-Hoon Ha extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a single.
Tennessee’s game against Montgomery was suspended because of weather, and was to resume on Monday.
Corey Black, acquired from the Yankees in the Alfonso Soriano deal, threw five shutout innings to help Daytona beat Tampa, 5-4. Black gave up five hits and walked two while striking out four. Zeke DeVoss and Anthony Giansanti each had three hits.
Tayler Scott gave up six runs — three earned — over five innings in Kane County’s 8-4 loss to Cedar Rapids. The Cougars committed four errors. Rock Shoulders and Reggie Golden each had two hits.
Kris Bryant had two hits and one RBIs in Boise’s 3-1 win over Vancouver in the first game of a doubleheader. In the second game, Bryant went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs in a 6-5 loss. Bryant was batting .354 overall. Trevor Gretzky had three hits.
Brian Bogusevic had two hits and one RBIs in Mesa’s 5-4 win over the Rangers. Bogusevic was the DH and playing his third rehab game. He scored two runs. Jesse Hodges had two RBIs.
