10/24 AFL update

Jorge Soler was 3-for-4, hitting a two-run single in the first, to help the Mesa Solar Sox beat the Scottsdale Scorpions 7-4 on Thursday in Arizona Fall League play. Three Cubs prospects pitched in the game, including starter Dallas Beeler, who gave up two runs on four hits over four innings. Matt Loosen followed and served up one run on two hits over two innings. Lendy Castillo walked two and struck out one in one inning of relief. On Friday, Mesa faces the Peoria Javelinas at Surprise Stadium.

I must say, Jorge looked much more relaxed at the plate today and it paid off with three singles to left field. Maybe whatever he did in Florida turned out well for him and let him concentrate better. Beeler gave up a single and a home run to the first two players and then settled in and did well for the remainder of the four innings he pitched. CJ Cron (LA Angles) first baseman on the Solar Sox is a beast. He murders the ball. Don’t know Mamma Mia as anything but a song and a Broadway play.

Ricketts you have no business. If the truth holds, otherwise follow. There is a bad guy up with you somehow. What makes a sport fan is the kid who goes out and does it right between games. Like the pros. Before him. On the field your ownership isn’t represented. Speak. The winners aren’t happening.

Sounds like somebody started their weekend early.

Who let drunk uncle in here?
