3/10 Sweeney OK after slip

Ryan Sweeney is OK after a freak slip in the outfield on Sunday. The Cubs outfielder had to leave the game because of soreness in his right knee suffered while chasing a ball in right.

“I just slipped and I don’t know if it was concrete or a drain or whatever down in the corner, and my front foot slipped and twisted my back knee,” Sweeney said. “I felt it pull kind of on the outside and it started to tighten up on me and I kind of got a little scared. They wanted me out of the game to make sure I was OK.”

Sweeney had a brace on Monday, and hoped to be able to take part in all the drills. After a lot of ice on Sunday night, there was still some soreness Monday.

If Ryan needs a personal injury lawyer, I have a few in mind. Sounds like poor design, and a lawsuit on the Ricketts, the Architectural firm and the contractor can bring in some big $$$$ for Ryan. No doubt Ryan has both physical and mental problems from this slip & fall that could have been avoided if the new stadium work was done properly………….Ryan, please contact the law firm of Howey, Cheatem & Screwem to see what financial payments you can get from the Ricketts and others based on your injury and suffering you endured…..

Those Baseball Experts over at the Cubs Den are saying Blake Parker may not make this team………….I see they heard about my reports……..

I hear cricket sounds over Chicago Cubs Online…….

Shark gave up 2 runs in 4 innings today………its early…..plenty of time left…….

and the answer is “No”……Shark will not be traded to the Braves any time soon.

White Sox game is on MLB TV now……but I rather watch “Gunsmoke” on the Western Channel.
