3/21 Mystery baseballs for good cause

Cubs Charities and Cubs players’ and coaches’ wives will host a Mystery Baseball fundraiser on Saturday at Cubs Park in Mesa to raise money for Mesa’s Paz De Cristo Outreach Center. Paz de Cristo is a community center and soup kitchen that has been feeding homeless men and women for 24 years.

The Cubs wives will be set up inside Cubs Park in the Left Field Activation Area starting at 11 a.m., and be stationed there through the second inning.

Fans can purchase a ball for $30. The baseballs are autographed by current and former players and coaches and seventh-inning stretch celebrity singers.

On Saturday, some of the Cubs players and their wives will serve food at Paz De Cristo.

Besides the mystery baseballs, there will be other items for fans to purchase, including game-used bats, jerseys and helmets. Proceeds will go to Paz de Cristo.

Wish I could be there, but flying to Chicago tomorrow. I would have purchased a few of those Baseball’s.
However duty calls, see if I can get a couple trades completed next week. :)
