Not saying that Eric Jokisch will ever be a #1 starter, but he seems to be climbing the ladder slowly. Drafted in the 11th round, 340th overall in 2010, hes doing much better than the 10 before him. Some may debate that Szczur may be better at this point.
Also in the 2010 Draft was Matt Loosen, 23rd round, 700th overall, Dustin Geiger, 24th round, 730th overall, Dallas Beeler, 41st round, 1240th overall.

What is Kevin Gregg doing these days?86% save rate last year.
Is he persona non grata?

I believe he is still a free agent, but I wouldn’t really look towards him to repeat what he did last year. It was a shock to everyone in baseball that he had as much success as he did. The fact that no one has signed him yet in 2014 proves that most teams don’t think he’ll be as good. Plus there was that whole incident where he lashed out at the front office towards the end of the season, so that might have put his name on the blacklist for the Cubs, and probably for several other teams as well.

Kris Bryant is playing so well. I hope he gets bumped up to AAA.

He probably will eventually, but no need to do it right away. You’ll probably see it happen when Baez gets called up to the Majors this summer. That would allow some roster flexibility at AAA with Villanueva and Alcantara. One of those guys would probably move to SS to fill Baez’s old spot. If it’s Alcantara, then you can move Villanueva to second and put Bryant at third. Or I guess you can just put Bryant in the OF, especially if Olt is playing well at the Major League level and you have no plans to move him off of third anytime soon.

I’m curious to find out what blog system you have been using?
I’m having some minor security problems with my latest site and I’d like to find something
more risk-free. Do you have any recommendations?
