After one month, who would have thought EJax would have more wins then Shark?……so far all the Garza trade guys are doing okay…..even though Olt is not hitting, I believe the warm weather will get him going……we are going to get warm weather in Chicago this summer, aren’t we?…….Castro & Rizzo are hitting…..we can relax………….I can make a safe bet that Castro will never win a Gold Glove……..

Yet anothe useless post… Why so low on lake? Valbueno? Wood?

Interesting. I guess fans can do whatever they want, to include grading players. Petrey asks a good question? Lake with his OBP, i will not debate. Wood you are just wrong.
Valbuena might be hitting .218, however he has 14 Walks. That brings his OBP up to .377. Thats a very respectable OBP.

Why so low for Lake……30 K’s & only 3 walks……that’s why!
Why so low on Vlabuena?…..look at number of RBI’s…then look at Olt’s stats….same grade
Wood?????……he is average….should be better….high BAA against him.

if it is a useless point……then why did you want answers to your questions?

U don’t like lake Bc of k and no bb but that is exactly what valbueno does well…. That makes no sense… U knock him for low RBI …. He’s not a run producer and isn’t supposed to be one….. Wood is pitching well and has actually produced with the bat sooooo I don’t get that either

When we going to get Wada up to the big club?! W is for Win with Wada!

Petrey, if you don’t get it…..then you don’t understand the game….so its useless to explain it to someone like you.

Lol no I’m pretty sure u don’t get it…. Why r u considering valbueno a run producer?

Tough teacher Cubs Talk.We have to be positive about the upcoming series with the birds, the way I look at it is we are only 3 down in the loss column out of second place. Go Cubs!

whats he teaching??? Its like the student trying to teach the teacher here….. Valbueno has the 3rd highest OBP on the team… I just don’t see what there is to be so down on. He should be our everyday 2B. There is more to a player than just his batting average.

on top of that his oWAR is +.3…. that means he has provided VALUABLE offensive production…
