This morning I watched a fascinating video on “How They Make Baseballs” which took us into a plant in Costa Rica. I believe it was from Discovery Channel. Had no idea it is such a process of layer upon layer of strings, etc. It said that 80 percent of all baseballs are made in China but that every MLB baseball is made in Costa Rica. It also stated that at least 100,000 balls are used per season by the MLB. Having seen the intricate labor that goes into each ball I will truly appreciate watching each ball leave the pitcher’s hand! Eamus Catuli

Primary LH hitting linup with three RH bats. Two of the RH bats hitting back to back? Castro 4th and Castiilo 5th. I just dont understand the thinking.

Thankfully they gave Barney a break tonight, the poor guy needed some rest from constantly running the bases.
