6/3 Minor matters – Monday’s games

Dallas Beeler gave up three runs over seven innings in Iowa’s 4-1 loss to Nashville. Chris Valaika and Beeler each had two hits.

Kris Bryant posted his 20th multi-hit game but it wasn’t enough as Tennessee lost, 10-5, to Birmingham. Dustin Geiger, Charles Cutler and Anthony Giansanti each had multi-hit games.

Daytona ended a five-game losing streak, beating St. Lucie, 3-1. Nathan Dorris picked up the win, giving up one run over 6 2/3 innings.

Jacob Hannemann had three hits and two RBIs in Kane County’s 5-3 loss to Peoria. Duane Underwood took the loss, giving up one earned run over five innings.

Hey….Cubs Insider Patrick Mooney stole my “The Good, The Bad, The Ugly” headline……….okay Patrick……I allow it this time……..but don’t make it a habit like other local Cubs writers who take off on my ramblings & rants stories and develop a column out of it for their readers!

BTW Patrick……that Wrigley renovation project cost is estimated at $575 million…….not $575.00 as you wrote.

I’m going to do my Cubs Talk imitation and pass along a rumor. I’ve seen a few pundits predict that Bryant will be moved up to Iowa soon after the AA All-Star game, which is June 17. Of course, they are just speculating like everyone else.

Aloha Cubs Win- if it happens, we can all say you were the first on this site! I hope he is brought up soon, need some encouragement for us die hards (of course he has to earn it and sure looks like he is at this point). Mahalo!

kg…please refer to June 2, 6:29pm remark on the previous post about when Bryant will be called up to Iowa.

Aloha Cubs Talk- opps, sorry about that I will make sure to give credit where it is due! Great game for the bullpen tonight and Nate coming through with 3 hits, very nice. Take care now. Mahalo!
