6/16 Cubs lineup – UPDATED

Jason Hammel will open the Cubs’ three-game series in Miami against the Marlins. Miami changed its Tuesday starter, and will go with right-hander Anthony DeSclafani, while Jacob Turner is moved to the bullpen. Here are the updated pitching matchups:

Monday: RHP Jason Hammel (6-4, 2.81) vs. RHP Tom Koehler (5-5, 3.68)
Tuesday: RHP Jeff Samardzija (2-6, 2.77) vs. RHP Anthony DeSclafani
Wednesday: RHP Jake Arrieta (2-1, 2.09) vs. RHP Nathan Eovaldi (4-2, 3.71)

And here’s Monday’s lineup:

Ruggiano RF
Rizzo 1B
Castro SS
Sweeney CF
Lake LF
Olt 3B
Baker C
Hammel P

* Valbuena is batting .360 (32-for-89) with 11 doubles, three homers, 10 RBI and a 1.009 OPS in his last 26 games since May 13. The .360 average is second in the NL in that span, trailing only the Brewers’ Jonathan Lucroy (.368)

Looks like many Heat fans will need to do something tonight……..hey look, the Cubs are in town.
