#Cubs Minor League report: Hannemann stars

Donn Roach gave up two earned runs over six innings in Iowa’s 4-1 loss to Colorado Springs. It was Roach’s first loss, and his ERA now is 2.14. Taylor Davis hit a double and drove in Iowa’s only run.

Jacob Hannemann was 4-for-6 and missed hitting for the cycle by a single in Tennessee’s 12-3 win over Jacksonville. Hannemann had two doubles, a triple, a grand slam, and drove in six runs. Billy McKinney and Stephen Bruno also homered. It was McKinney’s first homer at the Double-A level.

Jacob Rogers hit a three-run homer in Myrtle Beach’s 14-5 loss to Lynchburg. Jen-Ho Tseng took the loss, giving up six runs over 4 2/3 innings.

David Bote had two hits, including a two-run homer, in South Bend’s 7-6 loss to Peoria. Jeremy Null gave up three runs over six innings. He’s now 6-1 with a 2.01 ERA.
