#Cubs Minor League report: Wada, Soriano pitch
Iowa swept a doubleheader against New Orleans, winning the first game, 4-2, and taking the second, 2-0. Jeffry Antigua picked up the win in the second, giving up one hit over 5 1/3 innings. Junior Lake was a combined 2-for-6 and hit a two-run homer in the first game. Taylor Davis and Jonathan Mota each had two hits and a home run in the second game.
Tsuyoshi Wada gave up four runs over four innings in a rehab start for Tennessee, which lost, 4-3, to Birmingham. Wada struck out five and scattered eight hits, including two home runs. Rafael Soriano made his Cubs organizational debut, striking out three and giving up one hit in one inning.
Myrtle Beach lost, 3-2, at Carolina. Jeremy Null gave up two runs over six innings. Carlos Penalver had three hits.
Gioskar Amaya had four hits, including a three-run homer, in South Bend’s 10-9, 12-inning loss to Fort Wayne. Amaya is 11-for-22 in his last six games. David Bote had three hits.
Carson Sands gave up two runs over four innings in Eugene’s 6-5 win over Vancouver. Kevonte Mitchell had a double, walked twice and scored three runs, including the game-winner in the ninth.
