#Cubs Minor League report: Olt homers

Mike Olt had two hits, including a solo home run, in Iowa’s 2-1 loss to Memphis. Jeffry Antigua gave up one hit over six scoreless innings. Matt Szczur had two hits.

Tennessee lost, 8-0, to Chattanooga. Felix Pena gave up three earned runs over five innings. Jacob Rogers and Jeimer Candelario each had two hits.

Myrtle Beach beat Carolina, 3-1. Brad Markey picked up the win, giving up three hits over seven scoreless innings. He struck out 10. Jason Vosler had two hits and one RBI, and Daniel Lockhart and Trey Martin each had a hit and RBI.

Zach Hedges gave up five runs over five innings in South Bend’s 5-1 loss to West Michigan. Gioskar Amaya drove in the only run. Ian Happ had two hits, including a double.

Eugene gave up four runs in the ninth to los, 6-4, to Boise. Matt Rose had four hits and two RBI. Eloy Jimenez had two hits, both doubles.

Mesa lost, 4-0, to the Brewers. Javier Baez went 1-for-3 with a stolen base. He has a hit in four straight games in his rehab. Jose Paniagua was 2-for-2.
