Wednesday’s games

Drake Britton gave up five runs over four innings in Iowa’s 9-5 loss to Omaha. Adron Chambers had two hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs.

Ryan Williams threw six shutout innings in Tennessee’s 13-1 win over Birmingham. Jacob Hannemann had two hits, including his third home run, and drove in three runs. In their rehab outings, Miguel Montero was 1-for-5 and Tommy La Stella was 2-for-5.

Jason Vosler hit a two-run homer in the ninth to force extra innings and Myrtle Beach won, 3-2, in 10 innings over Wilmington. Daniel Lockart drove in the game-winning run. Jen-Ho Tseng started and gave up two runs over seven innings.

Trevor Clifton gave up two runs over seven innings in South Bend’s 10-2 win over Kane County. David Bote had three hits and two RBIs. Gioskar Amaya had two hits and Jeffrey Baez added a RBI triple.

Eugene was off on Wednesday.

Mesa beat the Dodgers, 2-1. Luis Hernandez picked up the win, pitching two scoreless innings of relief.
