#Cubs Soler to DH, not RF because of tight calf

Jorge Soler was originally to start in right field for the Cubs on Saturday but was switched to be the designated hitter instead
because of a tight right calf.

“It’s nothing awful, but why make him run around out there,” Cubs manager Joe Maddon said. “Get it well today, then I can
definitely play him out there [Sunday].”

Kyle Schwarber was originally the DH, but switched to left field for Saturday’s game.
