#Cubs Sosa named to Latino baseball HOF

Sammy Sosa was one of six players named to the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame on Friday. Sosa will be joined by Orlando “El
Duque” Hernandez, Jesse Orosco, Edgar Renteria, Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez and Omar Vizquel. The Latino Hall of Fame was
inaugurated in the city of La Romana in the Dominican Republic in 2010. Induction ceremonies will be Dec. 2-5. Sosa
finished with 609 home runs, and was the 1998 NL MVP with the Cubs. The announcement was made on MLB Network on Friday.
