#Cubs vs Pirates site still TBD

The Cubs beat the Brewers, 6-1, on Friday, and know that they will face the Pirates in Wednesday’s Wild Card Game, but the site has yet to be determined. Pittsburgh defeated Cincinnati in 12 innings Friday night, and holds a two-game lead in the Wild Card standings with two games remaining.

If the two teams finish with identical records, the Cubs hold the tiebreaker because they won the season series, 11-8, and would host the playoff game at Wrigley Field.

Carrie, I hope this is ok, if not please just delete it:
Here is a link too a story written by ex 2nd Baseman for the 2012 Cubs, Adrian Cardenas about his friend, Anthony Rizzo.

Appreciate you asking. Would prefer no links, but because I’m a fan of Cardenas, Rizzo and the New Yorker, and because it’s almost the end of the season, I’ll let this one go

Well Carrie, hope you enjoyed it as much as I did?

Yes. Adrian is a very talented writer, and one of the more interesting players I’ve ever met

To anticipate the Pirates losing today and Sunday at home to one of the sorriest teams on the planet these days is asking a lot. Jason Stark made a comment about Jake Arrieta this week which is worth noting. Said, “At some point in the second half of this season, Arrieta morphed into Christy Mathewson.”

Aloha jhosk, that is high praise to compare Arrieta to Mathewson. Mahalo!
