I hope they can keep Victorino and Parra, Murton deserved a spot.

There are several young men who merited a spot, Bob, including Murton, Negron, and Kawasaki who, by the way, led all Cubs` players in spring training with 15 knocks. With just 25 slots available, and more than half those places occupied by pitchers, good players like those we`ve cited are squeezed. It`s not fair, but as some seer once was quoted, “Life is not fair.”

Also coming into consideration was two players out of options. They don’t make the team, another team could claim them for nothing.
Bob, Murton, Parra, Victorino & Kawasaki all signed Minor League contracts.
Management seems to know what they are doing.
