#Cubs lineup vs Reds

John Lackey makes his Cubs debut at Wrigley Field Wednesday night in Game 2 of a three-game series against the Reds. First pitch will be 7:05 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet Plus and 670 AM. Here’s the lineup:

Fowler CF

Heyward RF

Zobrist 2B

Rizzo 1B

Bryant 3B

Montero C

Soler LF

Russell SS

Lackey P

Lackey is 3-2 with a 2.75 ERA in his career vs. the Reds. He signed a two-year deal with the Cubs in December 2015.

On Thursday, Jason Hammel will close the Cubs’ series vs. the Reds. Hammel did not get a decision in his last start vs. the D-backs last Friday, giving up four hits. First pitch Thursday is 7:05 p.m. CT.

Aloha Folks- I do not want to mess anything up as a game is going on! But can you say “Small-ball!!!” Zobrist is so good for the young lineup! That first inning where he fought and ended up driving up the count and taking a walk, then Rizzo has like a 10/11pitch count ab, fights and gets a walk. Then a patient Bryant takes the walk…I think Zobrist approach with his ab’s is becoming contagious and the younger folks can see the payoff, yes you strikeout less, get more walks but you also get to see better pitches! Mahalo!
