It`s encouraging to see that Willson Contreras is excelling at the dish. We hope he is, perhaps more importantly, mastering the skills he needs behind the plate. The Cubs are thin in the catching department. What to do if Montero or Ross is injured and is required to go on the DL? I would think Willson is the next man up. Am I wrong?

Aloha jhosk- boy, remember those saying 3 backstops was crazy! Well, thank goodness there are still two. I think we will be just fine. If need be in the later part of the season and in the September call-ups I could see Contreras getting a call up as it would give both Montero and Ross a breather late in the season. Do not worry, I think they will be fine! Hope you are enjoying the “small-ball” tonight! Mahalo!
