#Cubs lineup vs Brewers – Updated

Kyle Hendricks gets the start Tuesday night when the Cubs’ open a three-game series at Wrigley Field against the Brewers. Miguel Montero was scratched prior to the game because of a stiff back. Here’s the updated lineup:

At 14-5, the Cubs are off to their best start through 19 games in 47 years since also beginning 14-5 in 1969. In modern franchise history, the Cubs have been better than 14-5 only one time, when they were 16-3 in 1907.

The Cubs have outscored their opponents this season by 68 runs — 119-51 — the best run differential in the Major. Cubs starting pitchers have 16 quality starts, which also leads the Majors.

Kris Bryant is batting .421 (8-for-19) with two home runs and eight RBI in his last four games. Anthony Rizzo is slugging .580 for the season, and has eight home runs but zero doubles. He’s hit five homers and driven in 10 runs in his last five games.

The Cubs were 14-5 against the Brewers last season.
