#Cubs vs Brewers ppd.

Wednesday night’s game between the Cubs and Brewers was postponed because of inclement weather. No make up date was set.

The two teams will try to complete the series on Thursday with the first pitch scheduled for 1:20 p.m. CT at Wrigley Field. Jake Arrieta, who threw a no-hitter in his last outing against the Reds, will start against Milwaukee’s Taylor Jungmann.

The Brewers return to Wrigley Field Aug. 16-18, and Sept. 15-18.

It’s the first game postponed by weather for both teams this season.

No game. So I watched the White Sox on internet TV. Am I imagining things, or did Toronto improve that horrible artificial turf field which I seem to remember from last year’s playoffs? The infield now has dirt all the way around, instead of those dirt islands at each base. Still don’t understand why a stadium with a retractable roof can’t have a natural grass field, such as the one in Milwaukee. Any help? Insights? Thanks.
